He attended the courses of the Institute of Theater and Cinematography Art, Bucharest. He graduated in 1983, in the class of Professor Grigore Gonța.
He was assigned to the Petroşani Theater and debuted with the play "A man and several women" by Leonid Zorin, which he also directed it and which brought him the award for the best actor. He also played here in "Venetian Anonymous"by Giuseppe Berto,"In a park, on a bench" /strong>by Alexander Ghelma.
From 1990 to 2012 he was employed at the National Theater in Bucharest. Since 2012, he has been an employee of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater in Craiova. At TNB he played many roles, such as Sir Andrew - "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare, Tasso - "Torquato Tasso" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, for which won the award for the best actor, Pamfilus/ Byrria - "The Girl from Andros" by Terentiu, Scipio - "Caligula" by Albert Camus, Billy Bibbit - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman, Reverend Hale - Salem Witches by Arthur Miller, Trofimov - The Vineyard >sins"by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, The Madman - "Twelfth Night",by William Shakespeare, Pistetairos - "The Birds"by Aristophanes, etc.
His debut in cinematography took place in 1983 with the film Concurs, directed by Dan Pița, a film that won him the award for best actor at the Costinesti Festival. He also played in"To die wounded for the love of life", "Step in two", "White lace dress", "South Pole" , "An unforgettable summer", "The woman of dreams", "The bear".
It was also distributed in international productions, such as "Catherine the Great", directed by Paul Burgess and John-Paul Davidson, "Dracula III", directed by Patrick Lussier, "Dracula Ressurection", directed by Patrick Loussier, "Anaconda 4: Trail of Blood", "Born to Raise Hell".
