Cultural Shuttle
Through this approach, we welcome theater lovers from outside Craiova who appreciate and want to see our shows.
Initially, the project was aimed at the spectators from Bucharest, familiar with the history and reputation of the Craiova National, its performances, its actors as well as the invited directors.
The first proposed module included the following 4 trips/experiences:
- March 7, 2020 – RADIO by Eric Bogosian / directed by Bobi Pricop
- March 28, 2020 – HOUSE WITH MEERKATS by David Drábek / directed by Radu Afrim
- April 4, 2020 – OPERATION MARS by Alexa Băcanu / directed by Dragos Alexandru Mușoiu
- April 11, 2020 – PREMIERE – COUSIN SHAKESPEARE by Marin Sorescu / directed by Radu Boroianu
The first shuttle, on March 7, 2020, for the RADIO show attracted a large number of spectators, thus marking the debut of a new successful project of our theater.
Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic interrupted this project during March 2020 and reconfigured the entire program of performances on stage, which operates in accordance with the legal provisions applicable to the activity of performance institutions.
In 2021, the CULTURAL SHUTTLE resumed with the following program:
- August 31, 2021 – HEART AND OTHER MEAT PREPARATIONS by Dan Coman, directed by Radu Afrim and scenography by Irina Moscu
- November 13, 2021 – dog with man. dog without man based on texts by Lia Bugnar, Dan Coman, Simona Goșu, Maria Manolescu, Oana Pellea, Radu Tudoran and Radu Afrim / directed by Radu Afrim
- March 5, 2022 – dog with man. dog without man on texts by Lia Bugnar, Dan Coman, Simona Goșu, Maria Manolescu, Oana Pellea, Radu Tudoran and Radu Afrim / regia Radu Afrim
- March 26, 2022 – FEMEIA MARII by Henrik Ibsen / directed by Andriy Zholdak
The beginning of the 2022-2023 season brings, on the stage of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre, the premiere of the AVARUL by Moliere directed by Felix Alexa.
Cu această ocazie am lansat invitația, către iubitorii de teatru din principalele orașe ale Olteniei, de a participa la Naveta culturală regională.
Rezultatele bune nu s-au lăsat mult așteptate și astfel am bifat următoarea navetă culturaă cu participanți din orașele Drobeta Turnu Severin și Balș
- October 15, 2022 – THE MISER by Moliere / directed by Felix Alexa.
- December 9, 2022 – RADIO by Eric Bogosian/directed by Bobi Pricop
For the CULTURAL SHUTTLE and its spectators/passengers, the show starts as soon as you board the coach/minibus and will end late in the evening when you return to the embarkation cities.
For Bucharest, the departure is at LUNCH from the TNB parking lot (in front of the Studio Hall), at 12:30 p.m. The return takes place after the show, in the same place.
There are a limited number of tickets for each SHOW/TRIP and tickets are available online on our platform: https://ebilet. tncms.ro/ebilet in the case of performances for which the organization of the cultural shuttle is announced.
The communication of the cultural shuttles is carried out on the web and Facebook pages of the theater as well as at the ticket agency in Alexandru Ioan Cuza street no. 11, Craiova
