{"id":13545,"date":"2023-03-15T16:23:17","date_gmt":"2023-03-15T14:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tncms.ro\/?p=13545"},"modified":"2023-11-11T08:16:25","modified_gmt":"2023-11-11T06:16:25","slug":"project-competition-for-young-directors-and-set-designers-12th-edition-of-the-marin-sorescu-national-teatrul-in-craiova","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tncms.ro\/en\/concursul-de-proiecte-pentru-tineri-regizori-si-scenografi-editia-a-xii-a-teatrul-national-marin-sorescu-din-craiova-2\/","title":{"rendered":"PROJECT COMPETITION for YOUNG DIRECTORS and SCENOGRAPHERS 12th edition - \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater in Craiova"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater in Craiova is launching the call for applications to the project competition for young directors and scenographers, the twelfth edition. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In this period disrupted by a war so close to our borders, \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater in Craiova wants to support the Ukrainian dramaturgy, the Ukrainian and Romanian school of directing and scenography and to propose new names, concepts and artistic visions.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The winning project will be produced at the \"Ion D. S\u00eerbu\" studio hall, during the 2023-2024 season. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditions of participation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The text of the project have to be based on the literary work(s) signed by contemporary authors from Ukraine (playwright, novelist, poet); the performance text of the project (for the application) can be either in Romanian or English (if there are no Romanian translations already available).<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who want to choose contemporary Ukrainian texts (already translated into Romanian or English), can request them via email at the address tineriregizoritineriscenografi@gmail.com <a href=\"mailto:tineriregizoritineriscenografi@gmail.com\">tineriregizoritineriscenografi@gmail.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>After the announcement of the results, the performance text of the winning project will be translated from Ukrainian to Romanian.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>The show can have a maximum cast of 8 actors; multiple characters are accepted if actors have multiple roles.<\/li>\n<li>Creative teams can be made up of Romanian directors and scenographers, but mixed creative teams are also welcome (Romanian director-Ukrainian scenographer\/ Romanian scenographer-Ukrainian director).<\/li>\n<li>The project will be designed for the \"Ion D.
