The nomination jury was made up of <strong>Doru Mare\u0219<\/strong> (theatre critic), <strong>Maria Miu<\/strong> (set designer), <strong>Victor Scorade\u021b<\/strong> (theatre critic), <strong>Iris Spiridon<\/strong> (director) and <strong>Carmen Stanciu<\/strong> (theatreologist). The shows that came to the jury's attention are those that premiered between January 1 and December 31, 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><em>\"The greatest achievement of the Craiova National Theater since the establishment of the UNITER Awards, our institution is nominated in six of the seven important categories. The proposals for awards are a recognition of the high artistic dress of the performances in the repertoire, for which we have to thank the audience and the entire team of the theater. This event obliges us in the future to an increasingly high bar in the Romanian and European cultural landscape. Personally, I am proud of the confirmation of the value of the theater school in Craiova, Costinela Ungureanu and Claudiu Mihail, who were my students, are today nominated for the awards for the best actress and the best actor in the main role, after only a few years since graduating from the faculty\u201d \u2013 Alexandru Boureanu, manager of the Craiova National Theater<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><em>\u201c8 UNITER nominations force us to invest even more in the construction that we started more than 6 years ago. It's all thanks to a wonderful team that has often achieved the impossible. Our audience was with us and gave us confidence that we are on the right path. class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Declan Donnellan<\/strong> for directing the show \"Oedipus Rege\" by Sophocles, National Theater \"Marin Sorescu\" Craiova<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Andri Zholdak<\/strong> for directing the show \"The Woman of the Sea\" by Henrik Ibsen<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The best scenography<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Danilo Zholdak<\/strong> for the scenery of the performance \"<a href=\"\/en\/shows\/sea-woman\/\" target=\"_self\">Femeia marii<\/a>\" by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Andri Zholdak<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Best Actor in a Leading Role<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Claudiu Bleon\u021b<\/strong> for the role of Harpagon in the show \"<a href=\"\/en\/shows\/the-miser\/\" target=\"_self\">Avarul<\/a>\" by Moli\u00e8re, direction, stage version, lighting design, musical illustration Felix Alexa<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Claudiu Mihail<\/strong> for the titular role in the play \"Oedipus Rege\" by Sophocles, directed by Declan Donnellan<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Best Actress in a Leading Role<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Costinela Ungureanu for the role of Ellida Wangel in \"The Woman of the Sea\" by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Andriy Zholdak<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Best Supporting Actor<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Vlad Udrescu<\/strong> for the role of Creon in \"Oedipus the King\" by Sophocles, directed by Declan Donnellan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In Craiova, the nominated shows can be seen this season: March 17 \u2013 The Miser by Moli\u00e8re, directed by Felix Alexa, April 13 \u2013 The Woman of the Sea, <strong>by<\/strong>\u00a0Henrik Ibsen, <strong>directed <\/strong>Andriy Zholdak and May 4,5,6,7 \u2013 <strong>Oedipus rex<\/strong> by Sophocles, directed by Declan
