Based on the homonymous novel written by Ioana Bradea, the show bears the directorial signature of Cristina Giurgea and the scenography belongs to Ioana Ungureanu.<\/p>\n

Daniela Firescu, Voices in the night: performance and poetry\/ Revista Ramuri no. 4\/2023\/\/\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Considered a novel-cult, versatile and intelligently written, B\u0103g\u0103u, author Ioana Bradea, was published in 2004 by EST Publishing House, an international publishing house run by Samuel Tastet, known especially for editing Henry Miller's novels.<\/em><\/p>\n The novel, reissued in 2020 by Humanitas, gives voice to a hidden voice, to uncensored femininity, the inner voice of all abandoned, confused and forsaken women, thrown into the morass of the post-communist world. A novel of the breakdown and transition to a world in which gender difference is a fine theory marked by brutality and confrontation with the \"demons\" of capitalist society, but also, in the words of one literary critic, with \"the inexhaustible gallery of men caught up in aggressive and toxic fantasies\".<\/em><\/p>\n Nicolae Coande<\/em><\/p>\n Cristina Giurgea<\/strong><\/span> graduated from the National University of Theater and Cinematography \"I. L. Caragiale\" Bucharest, in 2016. He debuted, in the same year, at the National Theater in Bucharest with the show \"Eden\" by Eugene O`Brien, a co-production between TNB, UNATC and the Irish Embassy in Bucharest. In the following years, he worked as an assistant director in various theaters in Bucharest. In 2018, he wrote and directed the show ``\u00cepreLun\u0103'' at the \"Ion Creang\u0103\" Theater in Bucharest, a show dedicated to children between the ages of 0 and 3. The collaboration with the \"Ion Creang\u0103\" Theater continued in the following years with the show directed and written together with the Italian director Andrea Buzzetti, and then he coordinated, for a year, the European project Mapping. A Map on the aesthetics of performing arts for early years<\/em>, dedicated to early education. In 2020, he directed the show ``Paracliserul'' by Marin Sorescu at the Odeon Theater in Bucharest. Currently, he is continuing his studies following a master's degree in Applied Theater \u2013 Artistic theater practice & society in Salzburg, Austria, at the Mozarteum University, working in parallel in Romania.<\/p>\n Ioana Ungureanu<\/strong><\/span> graduated from the \"Nicolae Tonitza\" High School of Fine Arts, scenography department, in 2012, then attended the bachelor and master's courses, the Art of scenographer section at the National University of Theater and Cinematography \"I. L. Caragiale\". In 2017, he designed the set for the dissertation performance \"Tragedia Omului\" by Mad\u00e1ch Imre, a performance taken over by the 9G project of the Bucharest National Theater \"I. L. Caragiale\" at Sala Mic\u0103. In 2015, he did an internship at Castel film, the costume department, for the film \"Seven sisters\" by Tommy Wirkola, he assisted with scenography at several theater shows, in 2022 he signed the costumes for the show \"Doubt\" by John Patrick Shanley at the State Theater in Constan\u021ba. The show \"B\u0103g\u0103u\" is her scenographic debut.<\/p>\n
