{"id":19192,"date":"2023-12-23T20:22:39","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T18:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tncms.ro\/?p=19192"},"modified":"2023-12-23T20:22:39","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T18:22:39","slug":"acute-2023-objectives-stages-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tncms.ro\/en\/acute-2023-obiective-etape-activitati\/","title":{"rendered":"ACuTE 2023: objectives, stages, activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ACuTE in 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>March 9 \u2013 11, 2023 \u2013 Focus groups with the target audience, actors, collaborators and technicians of the \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guest in Craiova: Ciprian F\u0103c\u0103eru, architect of virtual and augmented spaces, designer of immersive and interactive experiences, creative explorer and researcher of new media technologies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We tried to understand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 How do we integrate virtual scenographies into the contemporary theater performance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 Where and how technicians, actors and the public meet with new technologies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 Cum pot fi realit\u0103\u021bile virtuale utile scenei \u0219i emo\u021biilor pe care actorii le transmit<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30 \u2013 31 March 2023 \u2013 Reality-Check Festival (Saxion University of Applied Sciences) \u2013 Enschede, Netherlands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">As a stage in the design process of the <em>Culture Tesbed<\/em> Model, the National Theater of Craiova was invited to participate in this festival to be inspired by the latest developments in XR technology and video game design , with the aim of using these ideas in their own experimental theater productions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>March \u2013 May 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 directors from Romania who explore, in their performances, the new technologies for which the spectators have shown interest were invited to propose a project that integrates virtual scenographies in an experimental theater performance that will be realized by mid-2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were meetings, discussions between directors and organizers, artists involved in the project and the production team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>June 12, 2023 \u2013 the choice and communication of the \"Reconstitution\" project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an effort to recover recent histories and integrate virtual scenographies into the contemporary theater show, the director Catinca Dr\u0103g\u0103nescu, together with the artist Ciprian F\u0103c\u0103eru, will mount \"Reconstituirea\", part of the European ACuTe project, at the National Theater in Craiova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Reconstituirea\", inspired by the film of the same title by the director Lucian Pintilie, proposes an exploration of the evolution of the media technological phenomenon in relation to society and started from the young people's perception of the theater as a portal to other times, a bridge between worlds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>July 5 \u2013 ACuTe presentation at Theater Networking Talents (Craiova, Romania)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ACuTe team and guests held a conference at #TNT2023 with the title \"Theatre 2.0: Community of the Future\" about the transition from the \"analog theater\" or 1.0 to its digital version or 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About rethinking the way we produce, create, present, communicate, or watch or participate in a contemporary theater performance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">George \u2013 Albert COSTEA : ACuTe \u2013 the opportunity to bring the theatrical experiment from the periphery to the center of artistic creation in a Romanian state theater<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Catinca DR\u0102G\u0102NESCU and Ciprian F\u0102C\u0102ERU: ,,Reconstitution'' - presentation of a show-experimental proposal within ACuTe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marina\u00a0 HANGANU: Telepresence and robots in the extended theater<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alex ZL\u0102VOG: Performativity on social media: exploring human and social experiences through digital tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>September 19 \u2013 September 29, 2023 \u2013 artistic residency at Azkuna Zentroa (Bilbao, Spain)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The director Catinca Dr\u0103g\u0103nescu together with the Augmented Space Agency studio team (Ciprian F\u0103c\u0103eru \u2013 scenography, Sabin \u0218erban and Dan F\u0103c\u0103eru \u2013 programming) participated in a creative residency at Azkuna Zentroa Bilbao to prototype the solution proposed in the ACuTe project for the creation of the show \"Reconstituirea\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">XR's #TNC installation was presented to the international public on Wednesday 28 September at an Open Doors event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>October 2023 \u2013 Casting for \"Reconstitution\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Present in Craiova, the director Catinca Dr\u0103g\u0103nescu and Ciprian F\u0103c\u0103eru worked for two days with the actors and collaborators of the theater to define the team of actors that will be part of the show<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>November 9 \u2013 12, 2023 \u2013 European Theater Convention (ETC) SHARE Conference, Timi\u0219oara (Romania)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">George Albert Costea, ACuTe project manager participated in Timi\u0219oara at the European Theater Convention SHARE Conference, where he shared with the other members of the network the way in which the ACuTe project was approached at the National Theater in Craiova and the first details about the future experimental show.
