The \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater announces the premiere of the show \"Two love stories<\/strong>\", directed by Mircea Corni\u0219teanu - Saturday, April 13, 7:00 p.m. The show is based on two vaudevilles by A. P. Chekhov, \"The Bear\" and \"Marriage Proposal\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premiere will take place at the Amza Pellea<\/em> hall of the Craiova National Theater and also marks the celebration of the 80th anniversary of director Mircea Corni\u0219teanu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actors Claudiu Bleon\u021b, Cerasela Iosifescu, Adrian Andone are part of the cast. Scenography and costumes, Lia Dogaru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout a prodigious career, director Mircea Corni\u0219teanu<\/strong> has performed over 160 shows on the stages of more than 25 professional theaters in the country (Nottara, Bulandra, National, Comedie, Ion Creang\u0103 from Bucharest, The National Theaters in Craiova, Cluj, T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219, Ia\u0219i or the municipal ones in Bra\u0219ov, Gala\u021bi, Piatra Neam\u021b, Oradea, Ploiesti, etc.) and abroad (Poland, Armenia, Cyprus). In 1990, he received the first UNITER Award for the show Unchiul Vanea, produced at the National Theater in Craiova, in 2011 the show Unde-i revolverul?, produced at TVR, received the UNITER Award for the best TV theater show, and in 2010 he received the UNITER Award for his entire activity. In 2004, he was decorated with the National Order \"Faithful Service\" in the rank of knight. He is an honorary member of the \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater in Craiova, of which he was the general director in the period 2000-2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"He fully proved it in his best show - and one of the best shows I've ever seen, and not only in Romania -, a show that contributed decisively to the enrollment of the National Theater in Craiova in the foreground of the domestic scenes in the turbulent years of the late 1980-90 decade: Uncle Vanea by Anton Pavlovic Chekhov. A show of extraordinary strength and beauty, a show in which I, for one, understood for the first time (after some seniority in the profession, however) why the sublime Russian author called his plays comedies...<\/em>\" (Alice Georgescu )<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
