The \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theater in Craiova marks, between October 26 and 28, 2025, 175 years since its founding, an anniversary that brings to the forefront the history, values, and contribution of one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its founding in 1850, the National Theatre of Craiova has become a true cultural force, a space of innovation and artistic excellence, a place where generations of artists have contributed to defining the Romanian theatrical identity. Decorated over time by the Presidency of Romania (2004, 2020) and by the Royal House of Romania (2020), the \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theatre continues to be a stage connected to the great international theatrical trends and a promoter of cultural dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
