PROJECT COMPETITION for<\/strong><\/p>\n

YOUNG ROMANIAN DIRECTORS and SCENOGRAPHERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

10th edition - \"Marin Sorescu\" National Theatre Craiova<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teatrul Na\u021bional \u201eMarin Sorescu\u201d Craiova lanseaz\u0103 concursul de proiecte pentru tineri regizori \u0219i scenografi rom\u00e2ni, ajuns la cea de-a X-a edi\u021bie, 2019. <\/strong>Proiectul const\u0103 \u00een prezentarea scris\u0103 a unei concep\u021bii regizoral-scenografice \u00een vederea mont\u0103rii unui spectacol la Teatrul Na\u021bional \u201eMarin Sorescu\u201d Craiova, la sala studio \u201eIon D. S\u00eerbu\u201d, \u00een stagiunea 2020-2021. Proiectul c\u00e2\u0219tig\u0103tor va fi pus \u00een scen\u0103 \u00een toamna anului 2020.<\/strong>
\r\nCondi\u0163ii de participare:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The text of this year's project will be based on a play or a relevant (dramatized) text from Marin Sorescu's opera <\/strong> (1936-1996) - with a maximum of 8 characters;<\/p>\n

\u2022 The project will be designed for the \u201cIon D. S\u00eerbu\u201d Studio Hall (see the technical details of the room on the TNC website https:\/\/tncms.ro\/tehnic.php <\/a>)<\/p>\n

\u2022 The amount of the project is 50,000 lei gross (including set production costs and creative team fees - director, set designer, composer, etc., copyright costs)<\/p>\n

\u2022 The director and the scenographer must be graduates of specialized higher education, in the last 5 years<\/p>\n

\u2022 The CV and the list of their artistic creations will be attached to the project<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nota bene<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Texts that have not been performed on stage have priority. This is not a mandatory condition, but will act as a tie-breaking criterion in the event of a tie.<\/p>\n

2. The project is not limited, the number of pages and its form are at the free initiative of the candidate.<\/p>\n

The winning projects of previous editions were:<\/p>\n

1. \"Conu' Leonida face with reaction\" by I.L.Caragiale, directed by Diana Drago\u0219, scenography Adriana Dinulescu<\/p>\n

2. \"Photoshop\", text and direction Catinca Dr\u0103g\u0103nescu, scenography Sorana \u021aopa<\/p>\n

3. \"Professor of Religion\" by Mihaela Michailov, directed and scenography by Bobi Pricop<\/p>\n

4. \"The Break-in\", after the novel \"Armed Robbery\" by R\u0103zvan Petrescu, directed by Drago\u0219 Alexandru Mu\u0219oiu, set design by arh. Andreea Simona Negril\u0103<\/p>\n

5. For the fifth edition, exceptionally, two projects were declared winners: \"Exploziv\" by Elise Willk, directed by Andrei M\u0103jeri, scenography Alexandra Panaite and \"Sf\u00e2r\u0219it\", dramatization by Oana Hodade after Florin L\u0103z\u0103rescu's prose, directed by Leta Popescu, scenography Gloria Gagu;<\/p>\n

6. \"The Other Country\", based on Hertha M\u00fcller's novels, \"Man is a Great Pheasant of the World\" and \"Journey in One Foot\", dramatic script by Alexandru Istudor, scenography by Francesca-Antonia Cioanc\u0103<\/p>\n

7. \"The Sand Monster\" by Csaba Sz\u00e9kely, directed by Irina Cr\u0103i\u021b\u0103-M\u00e2ndr\u0103, set design by Cezarina Iulia Popescu<\/p>\n

8. \"White room\" by Alexandra Badea, directed by Florin Caracala, scenography by Ana Iena\u0219cu.<\/p>\n

9. \"Playground\" by Raul Coldea, directed by Raul Coldea, scenography Alexandra Budianu.<\/p>\n
