The Marin Sorescu National Theatre invites you, on Friday, January 31, at 5:00 p.m., to the launch of the volume “The New World War of Old Prides” (Ed. Curtea Veche Publishing, 2024). The author, Mr. Adrian Cioroianu, is a renowned historian, professor at the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest, manager of the National Library of Romania. At Curtea Veche Publishing, he published the series The Most Beautiful Story (A Few Simple Truths About Romanian History, 2013, 2020; We Cannot Escape Our History, 2016; A Country is Built Day by Day, 2019), the book Beautiful Was the Sena Under My Flowers (2023) and several nonfiction volumes for children.
The meeting will take place in the TNC foyer and will be moderated by Mr. Ovidiu Simonca, PR of Curtea Veche Publishing, editor of the Matca literară magazine. The writers Camelia Radulian and Nicolae Coande will give speeches. The author will sign autographs.
