Personal data policy  

The "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova as a personal data operator, through this policy explains how personal data is collected, used, processed and managed in the online environment.

The personal data policy is based on the legislative framework established by Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter "Regulation").

1. Presentation

"Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova is a public cultural institution of local interest, with as its main object of activity the realization of artistic productions consisting of theater performances from national and universal dramaturgy, performances and cultural and artistic events with the aim of promoting the act of culture .

Terms having the following meanings are used in this procedure:

"restriction of processing" - the marking of stored personal data for the purpose of limiting their further processing;

"profiling" means any form of automatic processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects of the natural person's work performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements;

„Operator” – Teatrul Național „Marin Sorescu” Craiova, entitate care stabilește scopurile și mijloacele de prelucrare a datelor cu caracter personal; atunci când scopurile și mijloacele prelucrării sunt stabilite în conformitate cu prevederile legale aplicabile.

"data subject's consent" - any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of his or her wishes by which the data subject signifies his or her unambiguous agreement to the processing of his or her personal data;

Profiling is any form of automatic processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects of the natural person's work performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements. The action of processing through profiling may be carried out by us following the collection of personal data in one or more of the ways indicated above and which may be used for legitimate marketing actions exclusively related to the cultural services activity provided.

The "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova has a firm policy regarding the processing of personal data and will take all necessary measures to prevent personal data from being traded for marketing purposes.

The provision of the requested information will in principle be made free of charge. The right to restrict processing can be exercised by you if the data subject disputes the accuracy of the data, the data are unlawfully obtained or are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. The restriction for inaccuracy is for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.  Data rectification means marking the data and not using it in the future.

1. Questions and exercise of rights

Both to obtain more information about the Privacy Policy and to exercise your rights, you can write to us with a signed request stating the requested information to 16 Constantin Mille Street.

From the moment of receiving the request, the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova will formulate an answer within 30 days. If there are reasonable suspicions regarding the person who sent the request, we can take steps to clarify and confirm that the request was sent by the person concerned. In the situation where the submitted request is complex or a situation of objective impossibility is determined to respond within the indicated term, the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova will inform about the extension.

The "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova can make changes to this Privacy Policy. Any changes (revisions, additions) made regarding this Privacy Policy are to be published without any prior notification, being immediately applicable.
