Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, has decided to confer the Royal Decoration "Nihil Sine Deo" to the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre in Craiova.
The royal decoration "Nihil Sine Deo" can be awarded to outstanding personalities in the social, scientific, educational, cultural, spiritual, economic, political and military fields who have reached a respectable number of years in the profession or have achieved a high level of performance, have had an extraordinary initiative, showed generosity and responsibility, used the power of personal example to enrich the Romanian present.
The decoration may be awarded to institutions or organizations, if their activity is uniformly limited to the above criteria.
Our institution is honored by the attention of the Royal House around the 170th anniversary of its existence in the Romanian and international cultural landscape.
The decoration ceremony will take place at Elizabeth Palace in July 2020.
