Visar Zhiti, one of the most important contemporary Albanian writers, will be present in Craiova, for the launch of the novel "Love and the man with wings", published by the Asdreni Publishing House of the League of Albanians in Romania (ALAR).
The event will take place on Friday, October 6, 2023, starting at 2:30 p.m., in the foyer of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater in Craiova.
Alongside the author, the writer Nicolae Coande, literary secretary of the Theatre, the writer Constantin Pădureanu, Luan Topciu, coordinator of the Cultural Center within ALAR, as well as the president of ALAR, Radu Săvulescu, will take the floor. The actor Angel Rababoc will present a poetic recital from the work of Visar Zhiti.
The Albanian writer is a close collaborator of ALAR and a friend of Romania. Some of his books have already been published in Romanian translation, among them are the volumes "Aripa frantă" and "Cortegiul fără de șorță", which saw the light of day at Asdreni Publishing House.
