At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the troupe of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater from Craiova will present, on May 25 and 26, 2023, on the stage of the Hasim Ișcan Cultural Center, the performance Toc Toc by Laurent Baffie, during the 13th edition of the International Theater Festival in Antalya.
The direction of the show belongs to Alexandru Boureanu and Raluca Păun, the set is designed by Vanessa Beca and the costumes are made by Lia Dogaru.
The cast of the show includes the actors Marian Politic, Alex Calangiu, Romanita Ionescu, Raluca Păun, Costinela Ungureanu, Claudiu Mihail, Ramona Drăgulescu.
TOC TOC is a play that Baffie wrote in 2005. The show premiered at the Palais-Royal in Paris, starring Daniel Russo and Marilou Berry. Incidentally, the role in TOC TOC brought Marilou Berry a famous Molière Award, for New Theatrical Revelation, in 2006. TOC TOC will be a smashing success and will play to closed houses. In Spain it was played eight years in a row, over 1,500 performances, and in Argentina, for nine years, the TOC TOC production was seen by over 1.7 million spectators. In 2017 director, producer and screenwriter Vincente Villanueva adapted Baffie's play for the big screen.
