CASTING
The Marin Sorescu National Theatre is holding an audition for actresses aged 30 and under for the role of Ophelia in William Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Declan Donnellan, set design by Nick Ormerod.
PRE-SELECTION
Interested actresses are asked to send one portrait and one general shot, CV and a video of Ofelia's lines (maximum length: 2 min) to the email address: ofelia@tncms.ro
The closing date for the pre-selection is 20 March 2023.
The final CASTING will take place at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater in Craiova between March 27-31, 2023, and the actresses selected for the audition will be notified by e-mail.
The rehearsal periods for the production are: April 20-May 20, 2023 and December 1-January 15, 2024.
