The "POESIS - friends with Poetry" program of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater continues its meetings with students from Craiova high schools. On Thursday, from 2 p.m., the actors Gabriel Marciu and Nicolae Vicol, accompanied by the poet Nicolae Coande, artistic consultant of the theater, will recite poems from the school curriculum, but also from contemporary authors.
In Nicolae Coande's selection, the actors will recite poems from the works of poets Anton Pann, Alexandru Macedonski, Tudor Arghezi, Radu Gyr, Magda Isanos, Ion Minulescu, Benjamin Fundoianu, Emil Botta, Ștefan August Doinaș, Marin Sorescu, Constanța Buzea, Mircea Dinescu, Eugen Cioclea, Ion Mircea.
"POESIS - friends with Poetry" aims to collaborate with students of grades IX-XII from high schools in Craiova during the 2023-2024 season, in the desire to cultivate young people's taste for quality poetry.
