Performance by students of the master's degrees in acting and directing from the Faculty of Theatre and Film of Babeș Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, respectively the Department of Arts and Media in Craiova, performed in residence at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre in Craiova, under the guidance of director Bobi Pricop, assistant Mihai Gligan.
“Expoşi is a performance-interrogation, it asks questions, a performance-dialogue about the present of art and contemporary artists, about aesthetic values translated into political statements. (…) The text by Ionuţ Sociu and Vlad Bălan, an examination of creativity, of the way in which our identities are formed within culture, of the languages of everyday life, has a typically post-dramatic irreverence, which the performance displays, transforms into its main advantage. (…) The artists are “exposed”, they rely on an artistic polysemy, they become “material, artistic matter” and the real stake is to expose, to denounce the falsehood of the artistic act, the artists/ sterile art. (…) Exhibited is a show with ultra-violence, performative energy, provocative and disturbing, about the crisis of art, the crisis of politics and, above all, about art as an intermediary between identity constructions, ethnicity and nationalism.”
