This year, the magic of Christmas comes to life at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre, which is transformed into an enchanted universe in the heart of the Craiova Christmas Fair. "The Nutcracker" becomes not just a story, but an experience that you live with all your senses: a realm of imagination where reality and dream intertwine in a vibrant world, in constant motion. This performative installation reinterprets the famous story in a unique sensory journey, where music, light, space and the presence of the performers merge to create a truly magical atmosphere. Inspired by the mystery of dreams and the spirit of childhood that is never lost, the installation reveals new faces of Hoffmann's characters: the Nutcracker, Marie, the Rat King, and invites the audience to step into the middle of the story. Visitors are invited to explore freely, to discover dreamlike fragments corner by corner, to be surprised and carried away by the magic of Christmas. Every step opens up another scene, every glance, a new world.
