"Anomalia", the performance of the National Theater "Marin Sorescu" Craiova, in collaboration with the Polish artistic collective [in between], won the votes of the selection jury of the UNITER Awards, for the year 2023! The show directed by Natasza Sołtanowicz (Poland) received three nominations in the sections Best Scenography (Marianna Syska), Best Direction (Natasza Sołtanowicz), Best Original Music and Sound Design (Grzegorz Bieńko). Cast: Monica Ardeleanu, Ștefan Cepoi, Iulia Colan, Ramona Drăgulescu, Cătălin-Mihai Miculeasa, Costinela Ungureanu, Cătălin Vieru, Nicolae Vicol, Petronela Zurba.
The selection jury was made up of theater critics Alina Epîngeac, Cristina Rusiecki and Octavian Szalad.
Also, the UNITER Senate awarded the actor Valer Dellakeza the "Ion Caramitru" Award of Excellence, for an exceptional career, crowned with the role of the prophet Jeremiah in the show "Bros", directed by Romeo Castellucci, played on the world's big stages.
We congratulate our colleague Cerasela Iosifescu for the nomination in the section Best actress in a leading role - Iocasta, the show "Oedipus", Bulandra Theatre.
The "Marin Sorescu" National Theater welcomes the decision of the selection jury, respectively the Senate UNITER, and wants to share this good news with the great public of Craiova. The 32nd edition of the UNITER Awards Gala will take place on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the "Ion Caramitru" Hall of the National Theater "I. L. Caragiale" from Bucharest.
